1. Acceptance & Eligibility
By using Carnival Tax (“we,” “us”), you agree to these Terms. You must be 18+ and legally able to enter binding agreements.
2. Scope of Services
Carnival Tax provides virtual tax preparation, e-filing, and related advisory services for individuals, gig workers, nonprofits, and small businesses nationwide, including:
- Secure online intake and document upload
- Preparation and filing of federal and state tax returns
- Client support via phone, email, and chat or in person
We do not represent you before the IRS unless separately contracted.
Refund Transfer & Bank Products
Carnival Tax offers, through Republic Bank & Trust Company, Member FDIC, a Refund Transfer (RT) option. This allows you to pay tax preparation and related fees using your tax refund.
- If you select an RT, the Refund Transfer Fee and all authorized fees will be deducted from your refund when processed by Republic Bank.
- You are not required to use a Refund Transfer. You may choose direct deposit or check without additional bank product fees.
- Full terms, disclosures, and fee schedules will be provided before you authorize any bank product.
- Clients who do not select bank products must pay all Carnival Tax service fees in full before any tax return is transmitted. No return will be filed until payment is received.
We do not offer refund anticipation loans (RALs) unless clearly disclosed in writing.
3. User Responsibilities
You agree to:
- Provide accurate, truthful, and complete information
- Review and electronically sign your return before filing
